Points of Difference

Lifesaver Mints Served

At a recent professional development event, I had the privilege of creating a unique booth to network with executives.  Rather than creating an elaborate display as I had in previous years, I wanted to change things up.  I took Lifesaver mints and I served them to the executives in attendance.  In doing so, I wanted to demonstrate three qualities about myself:

1. Lifesaver - Every company faces enormous challenges and unexpected situations.  When you combine my quick-thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and reliability, you get someone you can always count on in the face of adversity - a real Lifesaver!

2. Mints - Some of the most consistent feedback I receive in my professional opportunities is that my combination of integrity and authenticity in a sales world often known for the opposite is truly refreshing, just like a mint!

3. Served - At the core of my being is a passion for serving others and coaching up those around me so that we can succeed on an even higher level than we would have individually.  It is for that reason that I am passionate about leadership opportunities, such as being the President of the Baylor Professional Selling, in which I can serve others and help them to reach greater heights.  Servant leadership is the most important quality I focus on, and it is what drives me to succeed every day.
